Education in
Christianity is also under attack. It is presented in movies and television as outdated, superstitious nonsense. Only the old and naïve actually believe this "nonsense." Lip service is given to it in public, since few want to be viewed as immoral. So church attendance bounces up and down, depending on the latest family or national crisis. Frequently, Christians and those who pretend to be one are lost. What do we do about the issues that face us daily? How do we behave in a time of crisis? What did Jesus teach us to do?
Teacher to Teacher was written in response to these situations. Teachers take a look at Jesus' teachings, plus how and why He taught. Through His parables and the author's experiences in the classroom, teachers are reminded of the importance of teaching, of the importance of the teacher to his or her students and, in turn, their importance to their teacher. Education regains its importance. In using the teachings of Christ, Christians can shake off doubts about their faith caused by society's dismissal of Jesus. He is real, and His words of guidance do provide a crystal clear view of the world and a Christian's place in it.
